Elegant classical garden room with full length glazed panels

Case Study #11

This garden room design provides a strikingly different experience to other rooms in the home, and allows the owners to enjoy panoramic views over their beautifully landscaped formal garden.

The simple geometry of this property in Worcestershire gave our designer artistic license to provide a light-filled room whilst making the most of the secluded gardens.

The resulting orangery with full length panels provides uninterrupted views of the outdoors, allowing owners to take in the views without being overlooked by neighbours.

Dimensions : 4m x 6.5m
Colour : Mudpie (Exterior), Mudpie (Interior)
A pair of doors to the rear elevation lead to a formal terrace, shaded by a silver birch tree.

The soft tones of ‘Mud Pie’ chosen for the internal joinery work perfectly with the French Limestone floor and the colour coordinated pinoleum roof blinds.

The underside of the inset box gutter which houses the downlighters has been painted in a contrasting colour to provide interest.

The elegant simplicity of this building is broken up with a horizontal transom to the panels with lead detail above, which ties in with the leaded windows on the house.
