An elegant and enduring mono pitched conservatory designed to give the client additional space and a room from which to enjoy the garden.
The owner of this beautiful listed property in Oxfordshire required additional room and was mindful of getting the design correct to ensure the legacy of the listed building.
She had already decided that a mono pitched conservatory would suit her needs perfectly so in this case, Vale simply interpreted her requirements into a simple classical structure that would create an impression and also work in terms of scale and proportion.
The window design was kept relatively simple with a four pane design set within a framework incorporating slender classical pilasters.
A simple ogee dentil moulding gave a touch of interest to the eaves.
The design incorporated two sets of opening doors to allow the room to open up in the warmer summer months.
