This idyllic farmhouse in the south of France makes the most of the warm evenings with a classical orangery leading out onto an open terrace, perfect for indoor and outdoor entertaining.
Our client’s had quite the journey endeavouring to create their perfect home as you can see from these photos of the initial structure.
They had an inspired vision for they wanted to achieve and we were happy to help them create their dream classical orangery.
The design for the orangery needed to be in keeping with the original farmhouse, replicating period architectural details, whilst offering a space for entertaining guests and enjoying the sun.
Every element of the build focuses on bringing to life the concept of easy breezy mediterranean living, complete with double doors opening onto a terraced outdoor dining space.
A mix of elegant 12 and 8 pane windows comprised of true divided lights create a beautifully light kitchen and breakfast bar, the perfect space for get-togethers.
Utilising a combination of solid walls and glazing within a kitchen orangery like this allows you to maximise on counter space and accomodate a sink area, all whilst retaining the signature open brightness of a glazed structure.
This classical orangery fits perfectly with the look and feel of the historic French farmhouse.
It has provided the owners with a beautiful extension to their home where they can spend quality time with family and friends all year long.
