ELEGANT TOWNHOUSE ORANGERY DESIGNED TO MAXIMISE SPACE

Case Study #38

Turning a disused space into an attractive functional room can be a great investment, especially in towns or cities where space may be limited.

Case study before picture

Our client’s pre-existing conservatory wasn’t suitable for frequent use, partly due to its inability to retain heat and its lack of ventilation which left the room too cold during winter and too hot during summer.

It was our client’s wish to remove the existing conservatory in order to allow for the addition of a bespoke timber and double glazed garden room.

We worked on this property in conjunction with design and project management specialists, Huntsmore, who managed the lower ground floor renovation of the rest of the Georgian townhouse.

The plans drawn up by our design team were created not only with the intention of providing an aesthetic space befitting of the grade II listed property, but also to leave our client with a comfortable garden room that will see use for many years to come.

The garden room has a traditional inset glazed roof complete with 2 rooflights to improve ventilation.

This build turned a previously unused room into a combined home office and living space.

This deceptively spacious conservatory shows how even a small room can make a valuable addition to any home.

Foliage inspired wallpaper creates a stylish continuation of the outdoor plant life, effortlessly blending the two spaces.

The resulting garden room provides the clients a space with year round potential. A room that enhances the property, built to last.
